The Before / After Block: Let Visitors Wipe Between Two Images

Two photos side by side, and nobody looks twice

You edited the photo and the result is genuinely good. So you drop the before and the after next to each other on the page and hope the visitor spots the difference. Most of them don’t — two static images in a row ask people to compare on their own, and a scrolling reader rarely bothers.

The Before / After block turns that comparison into something visitors do with their hands. One frame sits over the other, split by a handle, and they drag it across to reveal the change themselves — the small interaction that makes someone stop and actually look.

Set where the divider starts, so the detail you care about shows first

Rename the Before and After tags, restyle the handle, or hide the labels entirely

Plus the usual sizing, spacing and responsive controls, so it fits your layout instead of fighting it

Setting it up takes about a minute. Pick the before image, pick the after image, and the split appears in the editor exactly as it will ship. Everything else — which way it splits, where the handle starts, what the labels say — is a control in the sidebar that updates as you click.
